State of Maryland Releases Drug Price Finder Program

The state of Maryland's Attorney general created a website to help citizens comparison shop among pharmacies, since drug prices typically are not advertised or even displayed. This is especially helpful to senior citizens who face increasingly expensive drup prices. The website is: www.oag.state.md.us/drugprices/ |

Are You Registered to Vote?

|
For the first time since 1961, we will be electing a new Mayor for the Town of Morningside. We will also elect 2 new Council members this year. Are you currently registered to vote so you can participate in history? You do not have to be registered to vote for the County/State/National elections. Morningside residents can register to vote in Town elections only. |

Section 52-25. Registration

There shall be a registration on the first Monday in April each year between 1:00PM and 9:00PM of the qualified persons not registered to vote. |

Seniors
|
The Morningside Seniors meet at the Municipal Center on the first Tuesday of each month (except during the summertime) at 1:00PM. They are looking for new members, 50 years of age or older to share their friendship and talent with. Call Selaine Ealey at (301)735-7117 for further info.
The Ladies Auxillary of the VFW Post would like to thank the Seniors of Morningside for making and donating 13 caps for the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Thank you for the cute hats to help make a bleak situation a little brighter. |
